You and your family are invited to the first AGM for ‘Friends of die Oog’ since 2019 that will take place at die Oog on Saturday morning 4 March at 10.30 am. You are welcome to bring any non-members and friends along too.

Brett Castel will present the Chairman’s report of FODO (Friends of die Oog) on all matters concerning die Oog and our treasurer Patrick Williams will present the financial statement.

We look forward to hearing our guest speaker, local ward councillor Alderman Eddie Andrews, as he updates us on biodiversity and water/wetland initiatives and conservation efforts. Eddie is also the Executive Deputy Mayor and Mayoral Committee Member for Spatial Planning and Environment for the City of Cape Town.

The formal part of the AGM should be concluded by 11.30am.

We’ll end off this family friendly morning with some hotdogs and cooldrinks that will be for sale (outside on the open field, close to the swings opposite the entrance).

Payment can be made in cash or via Snapscan.

It could be very hot, please bring hats, umbrellas and camping chairs if you would like to sit.

Please RSVP here to give us an idea of numbers.
